TECHLITE Insulation services a large base of factory and industrial industries. Our high-performing, open-cell foam products thrive in Pharmaceutical, Food Processing and Sanitary Clean Rooms. TECHLITE® Insulation provides flexible foam produced from melamine resin, which is used to cover pipes and other tubular components that need additional protection from the heat or extreme cold. The lightweight, non-fibrous foam from TECHLITE® provides high-temperature resistance and offers low bacterial growth. Each product can be customized to fit virtually any application with a film jacket, as the outer layer is available in a variety of colors.
Though we offer a variety of acoustical and pipe insulation products, we primarily manufacture melamine foam-based, sound-absorptive architectural products on the Acoustics side, and thermal pipe insulating products on the Insulation side.
TECHLITE® melamine foam is a flexible foam made from melamine resin, a type of thermoset foam. Its trademark feature is the hard, open-cell, 3D network of strands (image below) that promote an industry-leading, Class A fire-rating and very high rate of sound absorption and thermal insulation.
TECHLITE® has been the recognized leader of melamine foam design, engineering and supply for more than 50 years. We have a global manufacturing and supply network, with partner facilities in the United States, Germany, Switzerland, China and Japan. Our clientele and projects are equally international in scope. We’re the preferred acoustic and pipe insulation resource for world business leaders, general and sub-contractors, renowned architects, industrial and interior designers, acoustic consultants and international project development companies. We’re a subsidiary of The Zippertubing® Company, a privately held, family-owned company for more than 150 years - Which means we’re the world leader in providing solutions for your insulation needs and we’re fully committed to staying there.
