The acoustical performance of any interior surface can generally be improved by increasing the sound absorptive materials surface area and thickness. That is why our Standard and Large Wave Panels come in a wide variety of sizes including 24 x 24″, 24″ x 48″, 48″ x 48″, 48″ x 72″ and 48″ x 96″, with standard thicknesses ranging from 2″ up to 3″ thick. The noise reduction coefficients of the Wave Panels were derived from accredited lab tests conducted in accordance with ASTM C 423 and showcase the Waves acoustic supremacy in the marketplace as the data indicates the Waves become 100% absorptive in the human speech frequencies (250 Hertz to 2,000 Hertz) at a mere 2.5″ thick.
